Date set for Al Habtoor Tennis Challenge

The eighth edition of the Al Habtoor Tennis Challenge has been confirmed for December 11-19.

The event, with a prize purse of $75,000, will be played at the Habtoor Grand Resort tennis courts. "We are thrilled with this news, especially because it will be held at the same time as last year," stated Hani El Khafief, tournament advisor for the competition.

The Al Habtoor Tennis Challenge is a highlight on the ITF's Professional Ladies Tennis Tour. After seven years of hosting this top-class event, the tournament has been upgraded to the equivalent of a WTA Tier V competition.
