Dubai: It seems Roger Federer's twin daughters, Myla and Charlene, might be gearing up for a future in professional tennis. The 15-year-olds were recently spotted training at the prestigious Rafael Nadal Tennis Academy in Mallorca, Spain.

Their visit came shortly after Federer and his wife, Mirka, stopped by the academy following a trip to Wimbledon in London. Myla and Charlene are the eldest of Federer’s four children.

In a previous interview with People.com, the 20-time Grand Slam champion mentioned that his daughters hadn’t shown much interest in pursuing tennis seriously, unlike their younger brothers.

“They do play tennis, and we ski, and we’re all learning to golf. We recently tried scuba diving. But the girls were never passionate about tennis, and I was relieved about it,” Federer shared. “The boys love their soccer—Leo is starting to show interest in getting serious about tennis. Lenny is much more creative; he’s very into drawing and reading.”

Federer and Mirka’s own tennis journey began together at the 2000 Sydney Olympics, where they both represented Switzerland. The pair started dating that same year and married in April 2009. Interestingly, the Sydney Games marked Mirka’s only Olympic appearance during her career—she competed under her maiden name, Miroslava Vavrinec.
