Dubai: They may not be the biggest names in the world, but the acts at this year's Emirates Airline Dubai Rugby Sevens certainly know how to get the crowds going. And from December 2-4, there will be no better place to party than ‘7he Sevens' on the Al Ain Road.
Apart from the rugby action on the six pitches at the venue, there will be an array of activities to keep everyone entertained.
On Friday, December 3, after the rugby action has come to an end there will be the Corporate Voice Experience (CVE), who are returning to ‘7he Sevens' for a second consecutive year after receiving rave reviews in 2009.
Also making a welcome return, for the Saturday night, December 4, will be the local-based Million Dollar Band, led by rock diva Salha Al Bu Saidi.
"So many things make the Rugby Rock our biggest and favourite gig of the year. We put weeks of rehearsal into the Rugby Rock, often doing songs we don't do again all year," Salha said.
"We get to let our hair down with our repertoire and definitely with our performance. I get to be a diva and a rock star all in one show, " she added.
