There was no stopping Jammal Club in the second Arabian 7s Challenge Cup as the Tunisians comprehensively clinched the title at the Dubai Exiles stadium.
Following the withdrawal of five teams, the competition was left with just four sides which included reigning champions Saudi Scorpions, and the UAE Falcons A and B teams.
With their squad boasting of three 7s internationals, Jammal Club hardly broke a sweat in each of their three outings to finish at the top of the table.
Both Falcons teams were competing in their maiden 7s Challenge competition and although they put up a brave show, their inexperience was exploited to the full by the African side who beat the B team 43-0 before routing the A side 46-0.
That left the Scorpions in their way but once again the overall strength of Jammal Club easily nullified the challenge of the Saudis as they rode home to a 40-7 victory.
According to the format decided, the top two teams following the round robin matches were to compete for the winners and runners-up positions while the other two had to battle it out for third and fourth places.
But the two Falcons teams along with the Scorpions pointed out that those matches would merely have been a repeat of the last two league matches and with the heat offering no respite for the players, no further matches took place leaving Jammal Club the new champions.
