Abu Dhabi: The Yas Marina Circuit has launched a new programme designed for children, the ‘1st Gear Junior Driver Experience'. Spanning across two-and-a half hours, this course will introduce the art of driving in a structured and safe environment to boys and girls aged between 11 and 17.
The experience, developed by the Yas Racing School, provides a safe learning environment for aspiring drivers.
According to Faisal Al Sahlawi, head of the Yas Racing School, "This experience is all about developing critical car control skills necessary for young people to become responsible drivers."
Run by a pool of registered instructors at the Yas Racing School, the course is a mix of basic driving theory and practical vehicle handling.
