Orlando: Tiger Woods reportedly spent an uneventful week with his wife Elin Nordegren and their two children at the same place where all his troubles began: his Florida home.

The gossip website TMZ reported that the ace golfer has spent more than a week living in the same Isleworth estate as his wife and their two children, and that Nordegren has been seen about town looking happy. The expensive mansion is where Woods wrecked his Cadillac SUV in the early morning hours after Thanksgiving, leading to stunning revelations about his incessant womanising.

Woods was subsequently linked to a bevy of women, leading Woods to leave the pro golfing circuit and check into a sex rehabilitation facility.

The site also said Woods, 34, has spent the last eight nights under the same roof as the woman he so publicly betrayed, and he’s been spending his days furiously practicing for his return to golf.

If true, the reports mean there may finally be some easing of tensions between Woods and Nordegren since his sex scandal first threatened their marriage.

According to TMZ, his wife of five years appeared rejuvenated by the reunion. The couple has two kids, 2-year-old daughter Sam and 1-year-old son Charlie.

Late last month, it was reported that Nordegren refused to pose for a family portrait with her husband the night before the star golfer made his public apology.

Woods is expected to play in the Masters, but there have been rumours that he may make a return to golf before then.

The New York Post reported this week that Woods had enlisted the help of former presidential press secretary Ari Fleischer to plot a strategy for his return and how he handles himself before the press.
