Dubai: Suzanne Wallace (31) scored 50 Stableford points at JA The Resort over the two-day tournament to win this week’s 27-hole inaugural 2020 JA Summer Classic, held on JA The Resort Golf Course, Dubai.

Wallace shot 32 points on first day over 18 holes and 18 points on Day II over two holes to win the overall title by just one point. Wallace’s round included two four-pointers in her first 18 holes and one four-pointer on her second day 9 holes with a gross birdie two on the 8th hole, a rarely seen species anywhere in Jebel Ali over the two days. Wallace scored a gross 105 / 52 over her respective 27 holes.

The overall gross winner was Aaenas Cameron (Scr) with 44 gross Stableford points.

A full field of 45 golfers competed over 27 holes in an unique two-day event over three loops of nine holes over two days of the 5,863 yards Resort Course Peter Harradine designed layout. The event was EGF sanctioned and was deemed a qualifier for handicap purposes.

The prizes were handed out by Geoff Hunter, GM of ProSports International, Middle East, as support sponsors of the 2020 JA Summer Open. Mediclinic were also support sponsors of the event.
