Dubai: Firm and fast greens after the recent windy conditions tested all players on Saturday at the BMW monthly medal at Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club.

Farad Lakdawala negotiated his way around to a fantastic net 70 to take the monthly spoils.

With a gross front nine of 45 and coming home in 40, the 15 handicapper secured his first medal win after being a member at the club for seven years.

A popular win among the members and Lakdawala commented, "Finally I did it and it shows that you should never stop trying."

Runner up in the Men's Division B was John Thomas, who was only one shot back on net 71.

In the Men's Division A, Humayun Shahryar came out on top with a solid net 72 with Warren Panting close behind in second place alone with his net 73.

The ladies division witnessed Naema Maya claiming first place once again with a superb net 72 and Sabine Freyburger in second place with her net 75.
