Sharjah: Last weekend saw the first Orient Travel Monthly Stableford of the summer season at Sharjah Golf & Shooting Club. Mohan Chidambram topped the leaderboard after the day’s play with an impressive 39 points. Chidambram won by two points and took home the trophy and pro shop voucher for his efforts.
Max Hibbert and Rajesh Chitti were tied on 37 points. Hibbert pipped Rajesh on countback for second place so Chitti had to settle for third, both claimed pro shop vouchers. Roger Ledeboer topped Division A with 35 points.
In Division B past SGSC captain Mel Stewart, collected top spot on 33 points. Ben Mulvaney’s score of 26 points was enough to claim first place in the Gross Division. The next Orient travel monthly Stableford will be held on July 26.
