Xerox Corporate Golf Challenge to tee off tomorrow

Abu Dhabi: Xerox announced tomorrow's start of the sixth qualifying round of the Xerox Corporate Golf Challenge at the Saadiyat Beach Golf Club in Abu Dhabi.

The Saadiyat Beach Golf Club is the Arabian Gulf's first and only beach course. Designed by the golfing legend Gary Player, who is renowned for his environmental approach to design, the course offers a view of the Gulfs crystal waters.

"Each round of this challenge has brought forward exceptional players and many unparalleled golfing experiences. As we tee off for the sixth qualifying round, I would like to wish all the players the best of luck." said Andrew Hurt, General Manager, Xerox Emirates.

Right to participate

The winners will earn the right to participate in the grand final which will be held at the Jumeirah Golf Estates on December 9, where the winners will tee off against professionals at the Abu Dhabi Golf Championships PRO-AM, which will be held in January 2011.

The tournament is sponsored by Avis Rent a Car and ABB, and co-sponsored by Renaissance Dubai Hotel, ECCO, Crystal Gallery, Khaleej Times, Middle East Golfer as well as Troon Golf, who manages the tournament.
