UAE send three teams to GCC Golf Championships

Kuwait City: The UAE national golf team have three teams competing in three different divisions at the GCC Golf Championships in Kuwait from Wednesday to Saturday.

Hassan and Abdullah Al Musharrakh, Rashid Hamoud and Esmail Sharif will represent the senior team.

Abdullah Al Qubaisi, Mohammad Al Hajeri and Mohammad Saeed Abdullah will represent the under-18s.

And representing the ladies team will be Rahab Al Haj, Tara Al Marzouqi and Reema Al Heloo.

Top players were not able to travel with the seniors for this event due to national service military commitments. And the under-18s will find it difficult to retain their gross category gold title after cousins Ahmad and Mahmood Skaik were unable to travel.

Meanwhile, in the ladies team attention will turn to Al Heloo who makes her international debut at the age of 12.
