Kim and Cho among six qualifiers for Belle Mare Plage final
Dubai: Y.D. Kim and T.H. Cho were two of the six lucky qualifiers at The Constance Belle Mare Plage Challenge Cup, played at the Tower Links Golf Club. Kim and Cho won the men's best gross with a score of 75. The father and son team of Joe Rundus and Michael Rundus won the men's best nett title with a score of 64, while Liezel Parry and Anita Loetzee won the best net in the ladies' division with a score of 65. The final will take place on May 5 at Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club.

Nad Al Sheba Club score over RAK side
Dubai: Nad Al Sheba Club beat home team Tower Links Golf Club, Ras Al Khaimah, by 3 matches to 1 in Match Day 10 of the 2006-07 Invitational Scratch Golf League. The four qualifying teams through to the semifinals are League A: Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club and DCC / SWGC. League B: Arabian Ranches Golf Club and Abu Dhabi Golf Club.

Hesson and Sowerby top invitation event
Dubai: Eric Hesson and Glyn Sowerby claimed the 15th Indian Invitational Golf Tournament with 46 stableford points at the EGC. In the runners-up position was the duo of Martha Wong and Viet Nga Luu Petersen, with superb 43 points from Seung Je Oh and Meehee Kim, who were one-shot further back. The tournament is proving to be one of the most popular events on the calendar. The raffle helped raise Dh15,540 for the benefit of the junior staff members. It was presented to Rod Bogg by Surrender Khandari.
