Dubai: Marco Saviozzi and Laurent Girouille from GMG emerged victorious at the UAE leg of the World Corporate Golf Challenge at the Yas Links in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday, thus booking their spots at next month's world final in South Africa.
The duo braved the windy conditions to notch up a total of 44 points and finish just ahead of Alan Salem and Soumaya Argui (the only woman in the competition) who finished on 42 CB.
With this victory, the pair have won the opportunity to represent the UAE at the world final of the event which takes place from May 3-8 and will bring together players from over 20 countries in South Africa.
