Dubai: Tej Chhabra produced a superb round of four-under par 68 over the Majlis course to clinch the Tournament of Champions title on Friday. The tournament’s starting field of 48 players included all members who won a title over the season.

On a hot and humid day, Chhabra came out on top by a one stroke margin. Craig Dunn signed for a net 69 to take runners-up place with Nishith Patel taking third following a two-under par 70.

Vipen Sethi continued his hot run of form following his doubles match play triumph with the best gross round of the day, a 75, net 69.

The Hickory putter also concluded yesterday. This was a net eclectic event over eleven member tournaments introduced by Club Captain Dick Purchase. Suresh Shewakramani, who carded a net 48 over 10 tournaments, won the event. Mark Yanchus was runner-up on 51 and Ishu Rupani third on 52. A total of 232 members played in at least one event in the Eclectic series. Suresh received a replica model of a Hickory Putter and his name will be attached to
