All set for a green course in Muscat

Muscat: The first tee off at what is being termed as the most spectacular and challenging golf course in the Arabian region would take place here later this year, according to Chandra Lahiri, group managing director of Muscat Hills Golf and Country Club. The club will have Oman's first ever green course ready by winter this year.

A ceremonial putt to launch the new brand identity - Muscat Hills - of the 800,000-square metre golf course was done by Sayyid Haitham Bin Tariq Al Saeed, Minister of Heritage and Culture, on Sunday night at Grand Hyatt.
