Ganna takes European crown in Individual Pursuit

Berlin: UAE Team Emirates’ Filippo Ganna was crowned Individual Pursuit European Champion in Berlin, Germany on Saturday.

It follows on from his silver medal in the 2017 World Championships.

Ganna said: “I’m very happy I succeeded in being very competitive on the track in my first season as a pro. This season I focused on road racing, being part of an important World Tour team with UAE Team Emirates. I’m proud of this title, I share the joy with my fans, with the Italian national team members and with my team, UAE Team Emirates, who support me every day.”
