Dubai: Emir Terzi scored a brace as last year’s runners-up Borussia Dortmund took full points off Al Nasr in the Hamdan Bin Mohammad U17 International Football Tournament being played at the Dubai Police Officers Club.

In Monday’s matches, Dortmund overcame Al Nasr 4-1, while AS Roma went to the top of Group B with a 2-0 win against Al Wasl. The Italians, who had opened with an identical 2-0 win against Al Nasr on Saturday, now have a maximum six points after two matches, while Dortmund are in second with four points and Al Wasl in third with one point. Al Nasr are yet to open their account after losing both their games.

AS Roma were calculated in their approach with Salvatore Pezella opening in the 15th minute, while Ludovico Dorazio doubled up seven minutes later to earn the Italians full points for the second time.

In the earlier match, Dortmund — who were involved in a 1-1 draw against Al Wasl on Saturday — were 3-0 ahead by the end of the first half with Pascal Thesen (13th minute), Enrique Pena (25th) and Emir Terzi (40th) finding the net. Terzi scored a second time in the 62nd minute to make it 4-0, before Omar Al Shamsi pulled back a consolation goal just before the full-time whistle.
