Eyejamp outlasts The One Trading, wins Championship of D-League Season 5

Jazzville recently concluded its Season 5 D-League (All Filipino) Tournament held in Abu Dhabi Sports Hub.

In the championship match, Eyejamp (Dubai) battled it out against The One Trading (Abu Dhabi). Team Abu Dhabi wasted no time in the opening quarter, outscoring Team Dubai – 08-24. During the second quarter, Eyejamp made a run of their own cutting the lead to just five points.

The third and fourth quarter has been a grueling battle for momentum, with Eyejamp outlasting The One Trading.

Marlo Collado of Eyejamp sinks crucial baskets in the dying minutes of the regulation resulting to Team Dubai’s win, 86 – 81.

In another game category, dubbed as Battle of the Pride, an open category league allowing 2 imports of different nationality, also delivered an intense performance – bringing spectators on their feet.

Team El Compadre of Abu Dhabi and Team Zamic of Dubai displayed their grit in a hard-fought, yet exciting match, where El Compadre emerged as the winner – 66-63.

Lander Decena, declared best player of the game, poured 17 points to help his team with the win.
