Pakistan skipper has refused to change the team composition ahead of the third and final Test against England

Dubai: Pakistan skipper Misbah-ul-Haq does not want to be affected by the prospects of a clean sweep over England. For him, the third Test match, commencing today at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, is another match that his team must win.
"I think every team wants to play for a win and that's our motive also. We want to be as good as we were in the first two games and that's what we will try. We just want to play good cricket to improve our performances and rectify our mistakes. Results, always, you can't control, what you can do is to give your 100 per cent," Misbah said.
The skipper does not intend to take the game lightly by fielding players who haven't got chances in this series.
"I am a firm believer of maintaining the balance of the team. The first priority is to win every game and we will do just that, whatever is the best option for the team. We will play with the best combination to achieve it."
Good feeling
Does he consider this series victory as the best ever? "Beating any team is always a good feeling and especially beating the top team in the world. It's really good for the team and also for the nation. You cannot just say before the game what you can do, the realistic thing is that you just go there, try hard and see what results from it."
Misbah said nothing special went into achieving these results. "We stick to the basics of the game and everybody is focusing on his duty — on what he has to do for the team as a batsman, as a fielder and as a bowler. That's the key for our team," he said.
Misbah is proud of the team's achievements. "If you look back two years, you can say that ours was an inexperienced team as there were a number of youngsters just settling and maturing. Now they have played for two years and have gelled well and everybody knows each other.
"They know their responsibilities and that is an improvement for Pakistan cricket. As you play together and keep playing against good sides, then you improve as a side and that's what happened to our side," Misbah said.
