Nucaf Tellicherry displayed their superiority through one of their biggest victories in the fifth Dulsco Ramadan Cricket tournament, being played at the Dubai Cricket Council ground.

Tellicherry defeated Liwa Properties by a huge margin of 206 runs, that too in a 25-over match!

Batting first, Tellicherry piled up a whopping 291 for 5 in 25 overs. Abdul Jaleel led the run-riot through a breezy 86 off 35 balls with seven sixes and seven boundaries.

All the Tellicherry batsmen who went out to bat returned with an impressive score.

Veteran C.T.K. Nasir once again showed that he is in form through an elegant 30, while youngsters Shaji hit 56 and Gibi Alex cracked a 44. Yogesh Kumar too chipped in with 37.

Liwa Properties, chasing the mammoth total refused to put up a fight. Initially they struggled against the tight bowling from Usman Kutty and Gopal Jasapara. Their batsmen crashed one after the other to the bowling of C.T.K Nasir (3 for 21) and Hemant (3 for 22).

The only batsman to put up some resistance was Liwa's Rohit, who hit a fighting 30 in his team's total of 85. Jaleel won the Man-of-the-Match award for his quick knock.

In another match, Mapco defeated ABN AMRO bank by 83 runs to enter the knock-out stage of the tournament.
