Dubai: Rest of Rostamani (ROR) emerged victorious in the 16th edition of the Annual Al Rostamani Group Cricket tournament, held at the ICC Cricket Grounds in Sport City.

The tournament, which is among the longest running sporting events organised by companies, was keenly fought. In the final, ROR defeated Central Trading Company (CTC) by six wickets.

The pick among ROR’s bowlers was Irfan, who picked two wickets and gave away only 24 runs, while Ashiq, Ahmad and Damit took one wicket apiece.

ROR batsmen played positive cricket and chased the total.

Shanker, through an unbeaten 39, ensured the victory.

CTC’s Waqas took two wickets for 37, while Muqueet chipped in with one. Due to his superb 56 runs, Kashif was adjudged the man of the final.
