Dubai: Yuzvendra Chahal may not have confirmed anything, but his latest appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show suggests he’s not exactly denying it either.

The Indian spinner, who has been at the centre of dating rumours involving RJ Mahvash, played along with the ongoing speculation during a recent Netflix episode. Asked cheekily about the “mystery girl” in his life, Chahal smiled and said, “India already knows.”

Also present on the show was fellow cricketer Rishabh Pant, who didn’t miss a beat before jumping in with: “He’s a free man now.”

Chahal’s friendly dynamic with RJ Mahvash has been in the spotlight ever since his divorce from choreographer Dhanashree Verma, finalised in March 2025. While both Chahal and Mahvash have publicly denied being in a romantic relationship and insist they’re “just good friends,” the rumour mill hasn’t stopped churning.

Adding fuel to fire

Mahvash has been spotted supporting Chahal at multiple IPL games, even when he wasn’t in the playing XI. The two have also been seen together at dinners, events, and even vacations. A recent ad featuring both of them only added fuel to the fire.

Despite all the chatter, Chahal has chosen to keep things light-hearted, never confirming — yet never quite denying — what the internet thinks it already knows.

And going by his grin on Kapil Sharma’s couch, he’s clearly in no hurry to clear things up.
