Sanam Band is headed to Dubai in October for a gig at Zabeel Park.
The YouTube sensations, who later shot to fame with their Bollywood covers and corresponding break into Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, will perform in the emirate on October 18, with lead vocalist Sanam Puri teaming up with his band members, Samar Puri on guitars, Keshav Dhanraj on drums and Venky S on bass.
Frontman Puri has further carved out his solo Bollywood career with hit songs that include Dhat Teri Ki from Gori Tere Pyaar Mein and Ishq Bulaava from Hasee Toh Phasee. Meanwhile, after several live gigs, the band further gained recognition after crooning the track Main Hoon, which was on the soundtrack of the Hindi language version of The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
The band has also has three private albums to their credit, including SQS Supastars, Samar Sanam and Sanam revisited; their most popular songs have been their take on retro classics Lag Jaa Gale, Mere Mehboob and Gulaabi Aankhen.
