Israel and Iran traded fire for a fourth straight day on Monday, escalating fears of a broader war that could draw in other nations across the oil-rich region and push the U.S. toward deeper involvement.

Iran launched another round of missile attacks on Israel early Monday, setting off air raid sirens nationwide. Emergency services reported at least five dead and dozens injured, as the conflict between the two longtime rivals continued with no sign of de-escalation.

In response, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant vowed to strike "everywhere" linked to Iran's leadership, targeting what he called the regime of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
