Hollywood legend director Steven Spielberg take a selfie with the cast members of 'Maestro' at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles, California, on Dec. 12.

Lead cast Bradley Cooper and Carey Mulligan attend the red carpet premiere of the film. Cooper spent six years preparing for the role, spending time with the New York Philharmonic and the Philadelphia Orchestra, and studying Bernstein’s work, but he insisted it was never a hardship for him or Mulligan, who plays his on-screen wife.

Leonard Bernstein's children – Nina, Alexander and Jamie – were among those who attended the premiere. Cooper has faced criticism for wearing a prosthetic nose to play the late Jewish composer and he admitted he cried when the conductor’s family released a statement of support.

Maya Hawke, the daughter of Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke, plays Jamie Bernstein in the movie.

Singer Lady Gaga reunited with Bradley Cooper, her co-star in 'A Star is Born' at the film premiere.
