IPL: Who are these mystery girls who became stars overnight?

When you watch a sports event on TV, the visuals must be excellent. The cameramen have to capture all the crucial moments in the match for the sports fans worldwide. The Indian Premier League also produced some thrilling contests so far in its history. Similarly, the camerapersons who covered the tournament have also captured fans’ exciting moments and expressions from various stadiums. Fans are also excited to watch images of some stunning mystery girls present to watch the matches. Their pictures went viral on social media several times. AARTI BEDI: Images of a mystery girl seen in the Brabourne Stadium gallery watching the Delhi Capitals’ match against the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have gone viral after she caught the attention of the camera crew, even as DC’s Kuldeep Yadav was taking a superb catch off his own bowling to dismiss Umesh Yadav to complete a four-wicket haul. While it was not initially known who the girl - dressed in a white top - was, it was later revealed that she was Aarti Bedi, a professional actor and a dancer. According to Aarti’s social media account, she is also an animal lover as she owns a beautiful cat named Fudge, whom she calls “the cutest member of the family”.

KAVIYA MARAN: Unlike other mystery girls who hogged the limelight, Kaviya Maran is the CEO of Sunrisers Hyderabad. She was initially spotted during the matches of SRH and later appeared at the IPL auction table. Kaviya, who is the daughter of Kalanithi Maran, also handles several operations of the Sun network, including Sun Music and several FM channels.

ASHRITA SHETTY: Ashrita, an actress and wife of Indian cricketer Manish Pandey, was spotted by the camerapersons while attending the matches of Sunrisers Hyderabad. Pandey played for the SRH franchise in IPL. Her pictures went viral whenever she went for an IPL match featuring SRH.

RIANA LALWANI: Riana Lalwani, a Dubai lifestyle influencer on Instagram, became popular during a match featuring Mumbai Indians and Kings XI Punjab in 2020. The game was memorable because its result was decided in a super over. Riana photos also went viral during the thrilling match.

ADITI HUNDIA: The photos of Aditi, who is an ardent fan of Mumbai Indians, went viral during the IPL final in 2019, featuring Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings. Fans who wanted to know more details about her found that she was a fashion model and the finalist of the Femina Miss India in 2017. Some reports mentioned her as the girlfriend of Mumbai Indians wicketkeeper Ishan Kishan.

DEEPIKA GHOSH: Deepika Ghose became popular while cheering for her favourite team Royal Challengers Bangalore during an IPL match in 2019. Later fans called her the ‘RCB girl’. According to reports, Deepika is a dancer and choreographer.

MALTI CHAHAR: Malti Chahar gained popularity in 2018 during a match between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians. Later, fans found out that she is the sister of Chennai pacer Deepak Chahar. Malti is a model and is known as a die-hard Chennai and MS Dhoni fan.

NAVNITA GAUTAM: Navnita Gautam gained attention from IPL fans during the second phase of the tournament last year. The photo, showing her chatting with RCB pacer Kyle Jamieson went viral and inspired hilarious comments varying from 'men will be men' to Jamieson 'playing his own match' to 'team at 53/4, but Jamieson kept himself busy'. Navnita works as a sports massage therapist with Royal Challengers Bangalore team.

RAKHEE KAPOOR TANDON: Rakhee Kapoor Tandon, daughter of Yes Bank's founder Rana Kapoor, came into the limelight during the IPL final between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings in 2015. Her photos during the post-match presentation went viral on social media.
