Raha Kapoor: The baby girl of Bollywood actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt was named by her 'Dadi' (grandmother). Taking to her Instagram, new mom Alia Bhatt shared the meaning of the name 'Raha' in various languages. 'in Swahili she is Joy, In Sanskrit, Raha is a clan, In Bangla - rest, comfort, relief, in Arabic peace' Alia wrote. 'It also means happiness, freedom & bliss,' she added.

Aadiya and Krishna Ambani: Isha Ambani, daughter of Asia's second richest man Mukesh Ambani, welcomed twins with husband Anand Piramal this year. The couple named the children Aadiya and Krishna. Aadiya means 'Beginning' or 'First Power' and is also one of the names of Lord Shiva.

Uyir and Ulagam: South Indian star Nayanthara and filmmaker Vignesh Shivan were blessed with twin boys earlier this year. The couple shared a sweet photo announcement of the birth, also revealing their very unique and meaningful names – Uyir and Ulagam. The couple captioned the post, “Need all ur blessings for our Uyir & Ulagam. Life looks brighter & more beautiful. God is double great (sic).” Uyir, in Tamil, means life or source of life and could denote one’s soul while Ulagam means ‘world’.

Devi Basu Singh Grover: Karan Singh Grover and Bipasha Basu took to Instagram to share the happy news of their baby girl's birth. "The physical manifestation of our love and blessings of Ma is here now and she is divine," the post read. It is no surprise, then, that they named their little one 'Devi'.
