    It’s easy to let yourself go easy on fitness upon reaching a certain age, but for actors in the spotlight this isn’t an option. Instead, the stars double down on harsh regimens to build muscles, stringent diets to control their weight and procedures to keep themselves looking young and fresh. Here’s a look at some actors who’ve embraced the challenge, and have managed to stay fit despite the stresses that comes with showbiz.     Tom Cruise: The ‘Maverick’ star is soaring high on the back of his box-office success which has raked in over $86 million and is a front runner for Oscars. The actor, known for his incredible stunt work, does weight training, bodyweight exercises and HIIT intervals to stay in shape.     Jackie Chan: When you think of actors doing their own stunts, one person that always comes to mind it the martial arts legend Jackie Chan. The Hong Kong star has broken numerous bones, suffered burns, and injured himself multiple times over the years “Stunts is what I do best,” said Chan in an earlier interview with Gulf News. His secret? “I still go to the gym every day and run for an hour, but I never go on a diet.     Demi Moore: While dance cardio remains Moore’s workout of choice, there is also yoga, barre, boot camp-style HIIT classes. She also gravitates towards vegan food and prefers smoothies and nuts. Green juices are her go-to drinks. She also attributes her lean-mean look to long distance cycling and strength training. Also, she adds in long runs into her fitness routine.
