Diwali celebrations in India are often incredible, but Bollywood celebrities have dialed up the glamour quotient like never before. Clad in dazzling ethnic couture with statement jewels, these stars have swung into action this Diwali with their glittering bashes. Stars like Kriti Sanon and Ayushmann Khurrana were seen hosting and attending celebrity-studded parties in Mumbai.

Gold is the new black, at least for Diwali parties in Mumbai this year. Natasha wore a shimmering gold saree with ruffle details. The designer and Bollywood wife to Varun Dhawan paired it with a matchingembellished blouse. Varun Dhawan was equally sharply dressed. He wore a golden kurta with white bottoms and black shoes.

At Kriti Sanon's bash hosted at her residence in Mumbai yesterday, we saw all her friends and peers turn up from the industry. On the red-carpet call, we saw her 'Bhediya' co-star Varun Dhawan, actors Ananya Panday, Nushratt Bharuccha, Rakul Preet Singh and Vaani Kapoor, and director Karan Johar among others. In the picture above, you can see a dapper-looking Karan Johar in a black tunic with gold detailing.

In another part of town, Ramesh Taurani's Diwali party was a star-studded bash too. On the same evening as Kriti's bash, prouducer Taurani also called in his friends and industry guests. At his party, we spotted A-listers like Katrina Kaif, Riteish Deshmukh, Genelia D'Souza, Rakul Preet Singh, Jackky Bhagnani, Aditya Roy Kapur, Kriti Kharbanda, Pulkit Samrat, Shilpa Shetty, and Nora Fatehi.

Vicky Kaushal arrived at the party with his wife Katrina Kaif. Kaushal opted for blue and white ethnic wear, while Kaif was draped in a red Gharara, designed by Anita Dongre. Gharara is an ethnic ensemble defined by a full divided skirt.

Shehnaaz Gill, on Wednesday, met Vicky Kaushal at producer Ramesh Taurani's Diwali party in Mumbai. Gill was extremely happy and the reason behind her happiness is none other than actor Vicky Kaushal. Taking to Instagram, she gave her fans a glimpse of her encounter with the fellow Punjabi. Sharing the pictures, Shehnaaz wrote, "Hun bani na gal (That's what I am talking about)... 2 Punjabi ek frame vich (2 Punjabi in one frame) Vicky Kaushal" and added a red heart emoji.

Kriti and Ramesh were not the only ones who threw a lavish get-together. The first of the big Diwali bashes this year was hosted by Ayushmann Khurrana and filmmaker wife Tahira Kashyap, on October 16, both of whom have had a terrific year professionally.
