'Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker' [English]: One of the year’s most awaited films is about to face judgement day. ‘Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker’, the third instalment of the sequel trilogy, and the final episode in the ‘Skywalker saga’ will offer to give fans a satisfactory closure. Starring John Boyega, Mark Hamill, Daisy Ridley, Oscar Isaac and the late Carrie Fisher, the surviving Resistance will face the First Order once more in this final chapter.

'Dabangg 3' [Hindi]: Salman Khan returns as Chulbul Pandey in this third instalment in the hugely-successful franchise. He plays the witty and intelligent cop who's not always right in his approach towards dealing with corruption or wrong-doers. Things take an unexpected turn when his past comes haunting him and circumstances force Chulbul to take up the righteous path to protect his loved ones and family and do what is right in the eyes of the law. Sonakshi Sinha and South Indian actor Sudeep also star.

'Bombshell' [English]: Another long-awaited film and one of the first high-profile ones to look at the #MeToo movement. The film is a revealing look inside the powerful and controversial media empire, Fox News, and the explosive story of the women, Megyn Kelly (Charlize Theron), Gretchen Carlson (Nicole Kidman) and Margot Robbie who brought down Roger Ailes, the infamous man who created it. It is based on the real sexual harassment allegations against the late Ailes, who stepped down from the right-wing network in 2016 after more than 20 women accused him of misconduct.

'Thambi' [Tamil]: Jeethu Joseph, best known for his acclaimed film 'Drishyam', makes his Tamil film debut with this thriller about an orphan who takes on the identity of a missing person years after he has gone missing. But he soon realises that there are deep dark secrets that the "ideal" family is hiding. Karthi and Jyothika are cast together for the first time.

'Hero' [Tamil]: Bollywood actor Abhay Deol makes his Tamil film debut, playing the antagonist against Sivakarthikeyan. Sakthi (Sivakarthikeyan) takes it upon himself to safeguard the current education system from Mahadev (Deol), the gatekeeper of corporate lobbying.

'Prati Roju Pandaage' [Telugu]: South Indian star Sai Dharam Tej plays a young man tries to unite his divided family and make his grandfather’s ailing last few days happy and blissful.

'The Legend of a Christmas Witch' [English]: By day Paola is a schoolteacher but at night she turns into the Christmas Witch, a magical creature who brings gifts to good children on Christmas Eve. One night she disappears, kidnapped by Mr. Johnny, a cruel Toymaker. Six students learn of her secret and embark on a rescue mission.

'Chola' [Malayalam]: From acclaimed director Sanal Kumar Sasidharan ('Sexy Durga') comes this thriller about a young village girl who's promised a ride to the city by her boyfriend. Upon arriving, she discovers her boyfriend is not alone. Coaxed, she hesitatingly decides to go on the journey only to step into a nightmare she could have never imagined.

'I See You' [English]: Director Adam Randall, known for the Netflix film 'iBoy' returns with this thriller starring Helen Hunt. After a 12-year-old boy dissapears in a perfect town filled with perfect families, the evil in the Harper household is about to be uncovered.

'Shabab Dayaa' [Arabic]: The movie follows the story of five poor guys with different beliefs who steal to make ends meet. Busted during an attempt to rob a jewellery store, they soon discover life behind bars. But as soon as they re-enter society, they hit upon a new profession: drug-dealing one.

'Ruler' [Telugu]: South Indian star Nandamuri Balakrishna's latest film has been pegged as a mass entertainer, also starring Vedhika, Sonal Chauhan and Prakash Raj in lead roles.

'Into the Ashes' [English]: Violence, revenge and betrayal are the themes in this blood-soaked plot about ex con who's trying to start afresh but his past comes to haunt him. Frank Grillo stars along with Luke Grimes and Robert Taylor.
