The 69th National Film Awards ceremony was held in Delhi on Tuesday and honoured actors for their outstanding performance in Indian cinema. Alia Bhatt, Kriti Sanon, Pankaj Tripathi, Allu Arjun and several others won the prestigious awards for their projects. The ceremony took place at the Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi. President Droupadi Murmu and Union Minister Anurag Thakur were present on the occasion.

Alia Bhatt dazzled in her Sabyasachi wedding saree as she received her Best Actress award alongside her husband, Ranbir Kapoor. She graced the red carpet with humility, saying, "Today, my only emblem is gratitude." The star was honoured for her remarkable portrayal in the film, 'Gangubai Kathiawadi'. Veteran actress Waheeda Rehman was conferred the Dadasaheb Phalke Lifetime Achievement Award. The ceremony saw Rehman receiving a standing ovation as she went up to the stage to receive the award.
