    12 New Year's Eve Concerts in UAE: From Bollywood stars to big bands

    As 2020 comes to a close, we celebrate with some starry acts for December 31 across UAE

    KISS
    Kiss live at Atlantis The Palm: The legendary US rock band, known for hits such as ‘Rock And Roll All Nite’ and ‘I Was Made For Lovin’ You’, will play what’s reportedly going be their “biggest concert ever” at Atlantis, The Palm on New Year’s Eve. The concert will be live-streamed in countries such as Japan, Mexico and the US. From 8pm-late, UAE residents can purchase a table on the Royal Pool deck from Dh2,500 per person, which includes free flowing bubbly, premium drinks as well as bites. A pre-show from 9pm will kick off the night, as well as the Kiss show of the band’s storied career. From midnight, revelers can enjoy front row seats to Atlantis, The Palm’s firework display as well as a record-breaking pyrotechnic show. Following the event, guests can enjoy a live DJ set from 1am or attend a seated after party in Nobu or Wavehouse from 12.15am- late.     Nora Fatehi, Maneish Paul Live in Palazzo Versace: Brace yourselves for a night of Bollywood glitz and glamour as actress Nora Fatehi heads to Dubai, along with actor-presenter Maneish Paul. The duo will be live at the Palazzo Versace for a New Year Eve’s part for a meet and greet, with local talent Ali Quli Mirza also on the roster. This unique musical event will see him join forces with Syrian artist Mouhamad Khairy for an unforgettable night.     Nassif Zeytoun at Dubai World Trade Centre: Fans of Nassif Zeytoun can welcome 2021 while being surrounded by his music at a special concert on New Year’s Eve. The Syrian superstar singer, nicknamed Abou Elias, will be lighting up the stage with his trademark hits. The charismatic Star Academy Arab World winner, who is known for his number-one tracks like ‘Bi Rabbek’ and ‘Mesh Aam Tezbat Maae’, might also treat audiences with his oud and piano playing prowess.     DJ Said Mrad at Dubai Opera: Arabic electronic house pioneer DJ Said Mrad will be joining DJ Saif & Sound and Carrie Gibson’s Nuvo Soul band at the iconic Downtown Dubai venue to usher in the New Year. Throughout the night, the celebrations will be kept in full swing as DJ Saif & Sound and Carrie Gibson’s Nuvo Soul Band will also entertain guests. As France’s most streamed female artist for 2019, Nakamura’s album gained more than 1.5 billion streams and 2 billion views to date. Known for breaking taboos, Rihanna and Madonna have both praised the French singer for her songs. Packages start from Dh1,500 per person and the event kicks off from 8pm. Strictly 21+.     Hussain Al Jassmi and Angham at Khorfakkan Amphitheatre: Get into the groove this New Year’s Eve as Emirati singing sensation Hussain Al Jassmi is all set to perform at the newly opened Khorfakkan Amphitheatre in Sharjah. Joining him on the stage will be Egyptian singer Angham. The duo will also be putting on a double act featuring their most popular hits. Al Jassmi, who recently performed at the opening ceremony of the Dubai Shopping Festival, will perform his biggest hits, including the chart topper ‘Sittah Al Sobh’, along with ‘Bel Bont el Areed’, ‘Ra’ak Allah’ and ‘Mohem Jeddan’.
