SELENA'S COMEBACK: It's been two years since Selena Gomez performed at a live event, and she reminded the world how much it's missed her. Gomez, opened the awards show singing her new singles 'Lose You to Love Me' and 'Look at Her Now', songs many believe allude to her past romance with a certain pop star named Justin Bieber.

TAYLOR SWIFT RULES: The pop star was undoubtedly the queen of the night, what with her ongoing feud with Scooter Braun upping the stakes of her performance. She took home six honours including artist of the year and artist of the decade, beating Michael Jackson's record of 24 wins. “This year has been a lot of good, a lot of really complicated, so behalf of my family and me, thank you so much for being there and caring,” said Swift, who now has 29 AMAs.

SHAWN + CAMILA: Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello have been heating up social media with their PDAs. At the AMAs, they stood close together while singing their hit song ‘Senorita,’ staring in each other’s eyes as they sang from one microphone at times. They even rubbed noses at the end. The pair won collaboration of the year for their No 1 hit song.
