Meet Vini Raman from Chennai: Glenn Maxwell's wife celebrated his double century with a post that went viral

His wife, Vini Raman, took to her Instagram stories to celebrate after Maxwell's record achievement. Present at Wankhede, Raman's three-word caption, “all the emotions 201*,” resonated globally and went viral.

Maxwell and wife Vini Raman, who hails from Chennai, India, embody a beautiful cross-cultural love story. The couple became parents to a baby boy in September and they named him Logan Maverick Maxwell.

Raman shared her traditional Tamil baby shower ceremony, Valaikaappu, on Instagram in July. Celebrating the South Indian ritual, Vini offered glimpses into her preparation to embrace parenthood.

Vini and Glenn's love journey began in 2017, culminating in a heartwarming proposal in 2021. Their wedding in March 2022 harmoniously blended Christian and Hindu traditions in Melbourne, Australia.

Raman has roots in South India as her parents migrated from Chennai to Melbourne before she was born. She is a pharmacist by profession.

Raman is also active on social media with over 225,000 followers on Instagram.

Back to dad duties: On Tuesday, Maxwell spoke about getting back to being a father after the energy-sapping game. "Pretty overwhelmed with all the (love) Thank you so much to everyone that has sent messages," he wrote on 'X'. "Time to get back to dad duties."
