It's a boy for Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan: From Alia Bhatt to Dia Mirza, wishes pour in from Bollywood

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan are Bollywood royalty who have welcomed their second son on February 21. Kapoor Khan gave birth at the Bridge Candy Hospital in Mumbai where she was admitted a day earlier. The duo are parents to the four-year-old Taimur Ali Khan.

The news was shared online by their close friend, celebrity designer Manish Malhotra and Kapoor Khan's cousin Riddhima Kapoor Sahni. The latter took to social media and shared a photo of the actress, writing: "Congratulations Bebo & Saif #itsaboy @kareenakapoorkhan."

A super excited aunt Karisma Kapoor took to Instagram to celebrate the occasion with a throwback photograph of her younger sister Kareena clicked after her birth. "That's my sis when she was a new born and now she's a mama once again !! And I'm a masi again so excited. #goodwishes #congratulations #onlylove," Karisma shared on Instagram. Karisma Kapoor is also at the hospital, she arrived a few minutes back.

Kareena Kapoor's BFF Amrita Arora wrote: "Congratulations, my love Kareena and Saifu."

Taking to Twitter, Malhotra also spread some cheer, posting: "Congratulations to my dearest #KareenaKapoorKhan and fabulous #SaifAliKhan."

Alia Bhatt, who is dating Kareena Kapoor's cousin and actor Ranbir Kapoor, took to her Instagram story and shared a super-cute photo featuring Kareena and Saif with their little munchkin Taimur. The Highway actress wrote: 'Congratulations bebo & said and my little Timtim... can't wait to meet your baby brother'. She accompanied this upload with an Its A Boy emoji.

Filmmaker and Bollywood 'Showman' Subhash Ghai tweeted: “Heartiest congratulations from me n all of us at @MuktaArtsLtd to dear kareena n saif for arrival of blessed baby boy adding glorious smile to every one. My Special love n blessings.” Back in 2001, Hrithik and Kareena starred in their first film together titled Yaadein in June 2001 directed by the ‘Showman’ himself.

Newlyweds Dia Mirza and Vaibhav Rekhi surprised Kareena Kapoor with an eco-friendly gift ahead of her delivery. Dia Mirza, sent her best wishes in this adorable note: "Congratulations, Kareena Kapoor, Saif and Taimur!"

Ali Khan's sister Saba Ali Khan shared a post on Instagram to express her excitement for the newborn's arrival.

Speaking with Times of India, Kapoor Khan's father Randhir Kapoor revealed Taimur is nothing but happy to have a younger brother by his side. "Oh! He's delighted. He is very happy about having a little brother. In fact, even Saif is excited. He is very happy, so is my daughter, and I just bless them all from the core of my heart," he said.

Kareena's aunt Neetu Kapoor also shared a note of congratulations. Neetu shared a family photograph on her Instagram story and wrote: "Congratulations @kareenakapoorkhan and Saif one more addition to the cuties."
