Indian actor Siddhaanth Vir Surryavanshi dead at 46: Industry friends express sadness over sudden loss

Fans and celebrities alike have expressed shock at the sudden death of Indian TV actor Siddhaanth Vir Surryavanshi at the age of 46. According to reports, the ‘Kkusum’ star was working out at the gym when he collapsed and passed away. Here’s what actors and other celebrities have shared about the tragic loss.

Actor Jay Bhanushali took to his Instagram story to express his sadness. Sharing a picture of the late star, he wrote, “gone too soon”.

Shaalien Malhotra, who acted alongside Surryavanshi in ‘Ziddi Dil Maane Na’ posted a picture along with the actor on his Instagam story and wrote: "Gained on a big brother, lost you too soon big man... will still remember all the suggestions and advices you gave me. The hacks for how you've always looked this good. I wish I can look as good as you did when reach that age.…. param Bhayia for karan and a friend/ brother for me... you'll be missed. @_siddhaanth."

Actress Kishwer Merchant penned an emotional tribute for the late actor on a post on Instagram and wrote: "Kya bolu main (what can I say)... this is shocking, numbing and just too sad!! Will never forget your loving hugs and warm smiles. RIP Anand prayers and strength to the family".

Former cricketer Salil Ankola also mourned the actor's death on social media. "Gone too soon. Rest in peace, my friend. No words to express my grief," Ankola wrote on Instagram.

Director Vivek Agnihotri shared his condolences and his thoughts about the dangers of exercising too much. He tweeted: “This so tragic and sad. The mad rush to build aggressive body, without any medical advise is so dangerous. Hyper-gymming is a relatively new phenomenon, which got mad impetus due to Instagram. It needs to be regulated for sure. Society needs to rethink. Oh, Siddhanth, Om Shanti.”

Singer Suyyash Rai wrote, "Gone too soon. Numb."

Actress Additi Malik also expressed grief over the actor’s death and took to her Instagram stories to share her thoughts. She mentioned how it’s an ’empty feeling’ and she cannot express much. “RIP ANDY, just an empty feeling (sic).”

Surryavanshi is survived by his wife and two children. His wife is the well-known supermodel Alesia Raut.
