Ganesh Chaturthi, also called Ganeshotsav, is celebrated as the birth anniversary of Lord Ganesha. The 10 days of festivities begins on August 31 and concludes with the final immersion of the idol called the Ganesh visarjan. This year, Ganesh Chaturthi after two years of pandemic is being celebrated with usual grandeur. Many Bollywood stars have marked Ganesh Chaturthi by bringing festivities to their homes this year.

'Ek Villain Returns' actress Tara Sutaria shared a glimpse of her Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. She dropped a picture seeking blessings from Lord Ganesha. Sharing the picture on her Instagram,, she wrote, "GANPATI BAPPA MORYA!!" with pink heart emoji.

Take a look at Chaka Chak actress Sara Ali Khan’s celebrations this year as she welcomes home Lord Ganesha. She took to Instagram and posted a picture of herself and her mom Amrita Singh at her house. "Happy Ganesh Chaturthi Ganpati Bappa Morya #duttacharaja," Sara Ali Khan captioned the post.

‘Dabangg’ actor Salman Khan and his family celebrated the festival with great fanfare. Khan along with his family welcomed Ganpati at his sister Arpita’s home and even shared a video of performing aarti on his Instagram. On the work front, the actor will ne next seen in ‘Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali’, which is now titled ‘Kisi Ka Bhai.. Kisi Ki Jaan’, with Pooja Hegde.

Newlywed Katrina Kaif, who shares a close bond with Salman’s sister Arpita, also visited the latter’s house to pay respect to the deity along with husband Vicky Kaushal. The star couple happily posed and smiled together for the paparazzi. Kaif’s sister Isabelle was also on the guest list.

‘Pathaan’ star Shah Rukh Khan, like every year, welcomed home his ‘Ganpatiji’ with son AbRam. He wrote, “Ganpatiji welcomed home by lil one and me....the modaks after were delicious...the learning is, through hard work, perseverance & faith in God, u can live your dreams. Happy Ganesh Chaturthi to all.” The superstar will also star in Atlee’s ‘Jawan’ with Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi.
