Bengaluru drug case: Who is arrested actor Sanjjanaa Galrani?

As Bengaluru deals with the unfurling of a drug case that implicates movie stars and producers alike, new arrests are being made. On Tuesday, actor Sanjjanaa Galrani, sister of Nikki Galrani, was arrested by a Central Crime Branch team that had been searching her home. But who is Sanjjanaa Galrani?

Sanjjanaa Galrani is a Kannada actress who made her film debut in the Tamil movie 'Oru Kadhal Seiveer' in 2006.

She went on to undertake a controversial role in the movie 'Ganda Hendathi' that same year.

Other movies Galrani has acted in include 'Boxer', 'Dandupalya 3', 'Raja Simha', 'Dandupalaya 2' and 'Chila Nerangalil Chilar'.

The stars Sanjjana has worked with include Mammootty, Mohanlal, Prabhas, Pawan Kalyan, and Puri Jagannadh.

This drugs business isn’t the only time her off-screen life has been used for tabloid fodder. Late last year she was investigated for having hit a producer at the party. She has since been quoted denying a physical altercation by India Today.

The 30-year-old actress hails from Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
