All the action at the National Awards: Bollywood stars Alia Bhatt, Kriti Sanon, Allu Arjun shine at the event

The 69th National Film Awards ceremony was held in Delhi on Tuesday and honoured actors for their outstanding performance in Indian cinema. Alia Bhatt, Kriti Sanon, Pankaj Tripathi, Allu Arjun and several others won the prestigious awards for their projects. The ceremony took place at the Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi. President Droupadi Murmu and Union Minister Anurag Thakur were present on the occasion.

Alia Bhatt dazzled in her Sabyasachi wedding saree as she received her Best Actress award alongside her husband, Ranbir Kapoor. She graced the red carpet with humility, saying, "Today, my only emblem is gratitude." The star was honoured for her remarkable portrayal in the film, 'Gangubai Kathiawadi'. She shared the honour with Kriti Sanon.

Could fans be in for a delightful surprise with an on-screen collaboration between Allu Arjun and Kriti Sanon? They were spotted recreating his iconic move from 'Pushpa.' Arjun was honoured with the Best Actor Award for his role in 'Pushpa: The Rise - Part 1. This is Arjun's first National Award.

Kriti Sanon shared the Best Actress prize with Alia for her performance in 'Mimi', in which she played a surrogate mother. She graced the occasion in a cream saree.

Veteran actress Waheeda Rehman was conferred the Dadasaheb Phalke Lifetime Achievement Award. The ceremony saw Rehman receiving a standing ovation as she went up to the stage to receive the award. Posing with the actress, Allu Arjun shared on his instagram: “it was a lifetime experience to witness Shri Waheeda Rehman ji win the Dadasaheb Phalke award.”

Actor Pankaj Tripathi received the Best Supporting Actor award for his performance in 'Mimi'. Talking to ANI, Pankaj Tripathi reacted to his National Film Award win and said, "There is hard work of whole team/unit behind any film. I am thankful to the jury for choosing me for this award... I dedicate this award to my father."

Actor Rakshit Shetty's film '777 Charlie' won the Best Kannada Film award.

Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar's production 'Shershaah,' starring Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani, bagged the Special Jury Award.
