Photos: Dubai International Boat Show 2023 opens

More than 30,000 enthusiasts and industry professionals are expected to attend the Dubai International Boat Show, which opened on March 1 at Dubai Harbour.

The MENA region hosts more than 12 per cent of the world’s superyachts, while Dubai has become one of the Top 10 nautical hubs in the world.

The theme of this year's show at Dubai Harbour is technology and innovation.

There will be 50 and over global and regional launches at the show, including Gulfcraft’s Majesty 111.

More than ten new brands will be displayed, including Abeking & Rasmussen, Boutique Yachts, Finnmaster and Greenline Yachts.

The 2022 Dubai International Boat Show was hosted after a two-year wait due to the advent of the global pandemic. It, therefore, came as a welcome relief for yachting enthusiasts worldwide, particularly in the MENA region.

The show has been running successfully since 1992, and the streak is expected to stay strong in the 2023 season.
