In Pictures: The ‘Jewels of Emirates’ sparkle and shine in Sharjah

The Expo Centre Sharjah organized the second edition of Jewels of Emirates 2021, aimed at creating awareness of the local jewellery industry.

The show held under the theme ‘Glamour of Beauty’ has the participation of over 100 companies and runs from June 30 to July 3. It will act as the springboard for local jewelers by providing them with visibility.

The recent fluctuations in the gold markets is holding back buyers, and the hope is that rates would drop. Sellers on the other hand will hope prices stabilize to win back buyers trust and the retail market some steadiness.

The show is the first exhibition specialising in Emirati designed diamond, gold and silver jewellery, as well as those set in pearls and gemstones. Exhibitors will also showcase luxury watches and fragrances.

The Jewels of Emirates target consumers’ pent-up demand and their urge to get back into some serious shopping.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, inaugurated the show where he said, the “Expo Centre's success in attracting many leading local gold and jewellery brands and watch designers confirms the importance of the event.”
