“Very little is needed to make a happy life; it is all within yourself, in your way of thinking.” Marcus Aurelius
Spending time in the past and reliving old painful memories can hurt a whole lot. Learn to let go of tragedies.
Stop blaming the situation or people for your problems. You may not have control on things that happen to you, but you always have control over how to respond. Being a whiner will only make you pessimistic.
With the age of social media, we have too many things to compare with others. We may think our life is not as interesting. However, remember what other people possess need not necessarily make us happy. Constantly yearning to be like others will make you unhappier and de-motivated.
You need not always prove yourself right in the heat of the moment during arguments. Ignore and walk away from melodrama. Step out and pursue higher motives rather than being a victim of other people insecurities.
