This shows a lot about the culture, religion and why the UAE authorities are so successful (‘Mosque renamed ‘Mariam, Umm Eisa’, Gulf News, June 15). This shows the heart of the people and how well the Rulers represent them. The people of a great country. This means so much about everything and in such a sensitive time with all violence happening in the world. It’s an amazing act. I’m proud to be a UAE resident.

Striving for tolerance

Our prophets
It’s a good decision because Jesus Christ [PBUH] is a prophet of God and we have the utmost respect and regard for him as Muslims. A Muslim’s faith in God is not complete unless he believes in all prophets of God, including Jesus Christ [PBUH].
