Funding must stop

It’s very clear that terrorist groups like Daesh are funded; follow that lead and get those who fund them first, then all will be solved, since operations will fail because of limited funds. Eventually, they will give up. For instance, Daesh uses brand new cars, as seen in many photographs of them. Who is giving them these cars and how can such purchases be made? We saw fighting equipment being lowered to terrorists and nothing was done. Some companies sell high-tech equipment, like tracing gadgets, to dangerous organisations, still, no one checks on them.

Work for peace

With a serious note of condolences for the victims of Paris terrorist attacks, I wish to state that if we really want to remove terrorism from our society altogether, we must work for peace. We must stop wars in all places and stop the killing of innocent people around the world. If we are serious about ending terrorism in society, we must put an end to wars that are currently ongoing, because these are the soft points for terrorist groups wherein they are able to exploit innocent people. The day we understand this problem, terrorism will be removed from our society automatically.

Where there’s a will...

I think the West should stop interfering in other nations’ business with their own commercial or political interests. In this way, I feel there would be no formation of terrorists to begin with. Terrorism is not a natural eruption like lava; these groups are created for several tactical and strategic reasons. An honest willingness can eliminate terrorism.

Who is supporting them?

In my humble observation, I think these terror groups seem to be supported by someone very powerful and resourceful. How else could you explain the collaboration of so many powerful countries in military strikes failing to counter terror groups such as Daesh? We have to think of who is benefiting from these acts. The groups have clearly disturbed the harmony of Muslim countries and given a horrific image to Islam. All its learned scholars have to come together to condemn the actions of such groups. They could play a role in showing the world that there is nothing Islamic about the actions of the terrorists. I think that in this manner, military action will become more effective in countering them.

Ground operations

First of all, nations should stop arming the rebels. Then, the global military coalition should start ground operations. The US was brave to start ground operations within Afghanistan and Iraq, but why are they not ready to do the same against these terrorists?

Eliminate injustice

We need to eliminate injustice towards any race and nation. Provide equal opportunities of education and jobs to all. I have not been to Europe or the US, but my friends there feel a sense of inferiority and insecurity in their jobs.

It will find its way

Be truthful and spread justice; this is the only way to dispel oppression, which is the root cause of militancy in the world. You cannot suppress, oppress or hold back justice forever — it has to find its way.
