Drastic page reduction?

Readers’ queries and concerns are addressed by editors in the newsroom

Drastic page reduction?

I would like to add to the letters by readers Mr Roberto Kauffmann and Mr G. K. (“Ask the newsroom: News coverage limited to India?”, Gulf News, August 10). I concur that Gulf News has drastically reduced its pages since the past few months, which in effect, means that the newspaper is definitely not covering international news in as much detail as was done in the past.

I also think Gulf News seems to take pleasure in splashing all incorrect events taking place in India. The newspaper is not printing a balanced version of the country’s progress. All countries have their weaknesses and strengths, but since the past couple of years, Gulf News seems to relish publishing, in the main, India’s weaknesses. Try to be objective and give credit where it is due.
