Sharjah celebrates world music with choir festival

Sharjah: Al Qasba will be celebrating the emirate’s cultural diversity through music and the harmony of choruses from around the world as part of its ‘Music Transcending Cultures’ event taking place at Masrah Al Qasba Theatre on April 28.

Held in conjunction with The Green Room, a Sharjah-based music start-up that works to develop and harness young talent based in the UAE, the festival will feature a diverse group of choirs who will come together to share their experiences and expertise.

The choirs will share music from different parts of the world to help cultivate a spirit of community and herald Sharjah’s multicultural society.
