Mame Baba Thiam joins Ajman

Ajman: Senegalese striker Mame Baba Thiam has joined Ajman from Iran’s Esteghlal. The 25-year-old, who was once on the books at Inter Milan and Juventus, had spells with Italian sides Avellino, South Tyrol, Lanciano, Belgium’s Zulte Waregem, Greece’s PAOK and Italy’s Empoli.

This is Ajman’s fourth signing under Egyptian coach Ayman Al Rammadi after Brazilian midfielder Vander Vieira from Sharjah, Moroccan defensive-midfielder Adil Hermach from Al Dhafra and Nigerian striker Stanley Ohawuchi on loan from Saudi Arabia’s Al Qadisiyah.
