Working in the UAE: All you need to know to plan your next long break
Dubai:The year 2023 has just a few more months left and UAE residents can look forward to one final public holiday that is expected in December this year.
The UAE's official holidays list was announced by the UAE Cabinet in November 2022, which included holidays for Eid Al Fitr, Eid Al Adha, the Prophet's (PBUH) birthday and Islamic New Year.
Based on the announcement, these are the public holidays that are coming up in the second half of 2023:
With the long weekend in September just over, the next and last public holiday of the year will be during the UAE's National Day celebrations
UAE’s National Day falls on December 2 and marks the UAE's formal nationalisation and the start of the federal unification of the emirates in 1971. According to the UAE Cabinet decision, December 2 and 3 will be a public holiday
