Amaury La Fonta, marketing manager of Porsche Middle East and Africa, said these include the new showroom on Shaikh Zayed Road and the new service centre in Al Quoz, Dubai. La Fonta said the Al Quoz facility is probably one of the best Porsche workshops in the world. In Abu Dhabi, the company's new showroom has been operational since April.
Porsche has a new showroom and workshop in Kuwait, operational since last year. In Riyadh, the construction of its latest showroom will be completed towards the end of the year, he said.
In Lebanon, a new showroom and workshop has come up while in Egypt a new showroom opened in January.
La Fonta said the company will complete a Porsche Centre in Bahrain by the middle of next year. He said the company is entering Yemen with a showroom that is being finalised by the end of the year. All these new projects are 100 per cent Porsche exclusive having no share with any franchise, he said.
