There’s a new concert venue coming to Dubai. UAE-based conglomerate Al Ahli Holding Group (AAHG) is teaming up with local events organiser Done Events — behind concerts such as One Direction, Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars and Jennifer Lopez — to bring bigger and better entertainment to the Middle East, Asia and South America, the companies announced on Sunday.

Speaking to tabloid!, COO of Done Events Thomas Oveson said that concert-goers should look forward to the fruits of the collaboration, which include a brand new entertainment venue in the UAE.

“A lot of the issues that we have with venues not having been built purposely for events will hopefully then be resolved in the way of purpose-built parking, food and beverage and even infrastructure that allows you to enjoy the show in a much better way than we can offer you to today, where we have to turn a car park or a leisure park or sometimes a field into a concert venue,” he said.

A date for the venue’s construction has yet to be announced by AAHG.

Oveson said the impact of the Done-AAHG partnership will be felt first in the Far East, as AAHG will be holding a first-of-its-kind Asia Pop Comic Con event in Manila this year.

“That’s probably going to be the first collaboration where we will announce some international performers attending,” he said.
